A lot of brand owners I speak to seem not to quite understand influencer marketing. They are aware of it’s importaĝnce but cannot comprehend the sheer scale power that influencer marketing has on consumer behaviour. Studies show that potential customers are more likely to be influenced by an individual rather than a publication. This means that traditional advertising is on a steady decline.
Marketing budgets will have to be reconsidered and recalculated to fit in this current marketing strategy. Fortunately, if this strategy is successful it will bring a whole bunch of extra income to boost your business and perhaps even take it to the next level. Re-budgeting to make room for influencer marketing will be a quite new investment for some brand owners and marketers but never the less it will be an important step to take if you want to stay relevant in today’s market.
To every marketer’s delight there are plenty of tools out there to help you find the perfect influencer to work with. If you have the budget and currently working with a PR agency they should help you with influencer marketing. There are plenty of Influencer groups and platforms where you will be able to find suitable candidates.
You can also find influencers directly on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Which I personally think is the best way, as this way you get to develop personal relationships with influencers. This is important because as their audience grows they still might want to feature your brand in their posts.
